On December 25, the launch ceremony for the South Shaoguan Channel was held in Shaoguan. Shaoguan, in collaboration with the Nanfang Media Group (Nanfang Daily), has developed a new platform for international communication and a fresh avenue for global connection, enabling the city to better engage with the world while presenting a more multi-dimensional, authentic, and open image.

Building a bridge for Shaoguan's global outreach
As the gateway to northern Guangdong, Shaoguan is a key crossroads of Guangfu, Hakka, and Yao cultures. Cultural landmarks such as Zhuji Alley, Nanhua Temple, and Meiguan Ancient Road carry profound historical significance, while the Danxiashan UNESCO Global Geopark, a Natural World Heritage site, highlights the region's unique ecological value.
In recent years, driven by the further progress of the "High-quality Development Project for Guangdong Counties, Towns and Villages," the urban and rural landscape of Shaoguan has continued to improve, its ecological advantages have increasingly translated into development strengths, and its cultural resources are rapidly gaining new vitality. The launch of the South Shaoguan Channel establishes an important communication platform for Shaoguan to consistently share its story with the world.

Creating a new name card for Shaoguan's international communication
Currently, Shaoguan is at a critical stage of transforming and upgrading its old industrial base while accelerating deeper integration with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With high-quality development as its top priority, the city has been continuously promoting modern industrial systems and deploying national data center clusters.
Going forward, the South Shaoguan Channel will serve as a crucial window for projecting Shaoguan's positive voice and showcasing its new image.
