Suning.com (Huazhou Jiarong Plaza Store) has become Maoming's first designated tax-refund store for overseas shoppers, marking a significant step in the city's efforts to boost international tourism and commerce.
The store offers a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, and rice cookers. Eligible international tourists and overseas Chinese can now enjoy value-added tax refunds upon departure. The "Tax Refund Store" signage is prominently displayed, ensuring easy recognition for customers.
This initiative is expected to attract more international visitors to Maoming's Huazhou, promoting the integrated development of the retail and tourism sectors. "We will enhance staff training and refine services to ensure a seamless tax-refund experience for our global customers," a Suning representative said.
