Adora Cruises returns to Guangzhou's Nansha

Guangzhou's Nansha International Cruise Home Port welcomed the Adora Mediterranea back on December 7, marking the ship's seasonal relaunch. Carrying more than 2,400 passengers, this voyage brings renewed momentum to cruise tourism in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

In parallel, construction of Adora Cruises' second domestically built large vessel, the Adora Flora City, has reached full structural integration and is slated for delivery in 2026. Once completed, it will also homeport in Nansha and operate international routes, further expanding the region's cruise offerings.

According to newly updated early-2026 itineraries, the Adora Mediterranea will depart from Nansha on multiple 5-day/4-night and 6-day/5-night voyages to popular Vietnamese destinations including Da Nang, Ha Long Bay, and Hue. Medium- and long-haul routes will also be offered, covering attractions in Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Brunei, providing GBA travelers with a broad range of cruise vacation options.

A highlight of the upcoming season is the "Intangible Cultural Heritage at Sea" program, which will bring aboard inheritors of Lingnan traditions such as Wing Chun, Cantonese opera, Foshan woodblock New Year prints, and decorative lanterns, offering a vibrant showcase of local culture.
