In Dongguan's Binhaiwan Bay Area, schools are leading the way in educational innovation by implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The Binhaiwan Future School has been chosen as one of Dongguan's first pilot institutions for AI applications, with the goal of enhancing learning experiences across various settings.
In a recent class meeting themed "Dreams," first-grade teacher Zhang Zhiling used AI-generated images to help students visualize their future career paths, providing an engaging glimpse into their lives in 20 years. In a seventh-grade math class, the "Smart Paper and Pencil Classroom" system tracked student responses in real time. Teacher Wu Ting utilized data displayed on the screen to identify areas where students struggled, facilitating personalized instruction tailored to individual needs.
In the school's tech lab, students are gaining hands-on experience with 3D modeling and printing. They designed and produced keychains, celebrating their creations with applause when the finished products were unveiled, demonstrating the impact of practical technology education.
The school is also enhancing its services with AI. A book delivery robot efficiently navigates its route, allowing teachers to receive materials directly in their classrooms. The upcoming "Smart Canteen" will provide a seamless meal ordering experience, enabling parents to pre-order food via a mobile app while receiving nutritional insights and health recommendations, fostering collaboration between home and school.
