The Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin will welcome over 400 student athletes from 25 leading universities, including Yale, Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, Tsinghua University, and the University of Hong Kong, as the 5th Hengqin Tianmu Rowing Regatta takes place this weekend.
Racing is scheduled for November 29–30 at the Tianmu River Rowing Park, with preliminary heats on Saturday and finals on Sunday.

In addition to the competition, organizers will host a free public "sports carnival" featuring stage performances, a camping zone, kite-flying, rowing-machine experiences, and food and craft stalls. Spectators can watch the races from the riverside walkway at Hengqin Rowing Park. Organizers recommend using public transport, while those driving can follow navigation to "Hengqin Rowing Park" for on-site parking.
The regatta will also be streamed live across several online platforms.
