Xianzhou Island, located in the middle of the Hanjiang River, is known as the scenic jewel within Chaozhou's landscape of "three mountains, one river and one island."

From the island, visitors can take in sweeping views of the winding, shimmering Hanjiang River, with its clear water reflecting the lush greenery along both banks. A gentle breeze carries the fresh scent of vegetation, offering a moment of tranquility.

On November 21, Zhao Lijian — former spokesperson of China's Foreign Ministry — posted on his personal Weibo account recommending Xianzhou Island in Xiangqiao District, Chaozhou.
In addition to the island's natural beauty, visitors can explore the rich flavors of Xiangqiao District. Traditional Chaoshan delicacies such as beef hotpot, oyster omelette, and fermented curd cakes (furu bing) fill the streets with an irresistible aroma. Paired with a cup of Fenghuang Dancong tea, these offerings create a memorable culinary experience.
