Ma'an Village, once a quiet village in Maoming's Xinyi, is now bustling with tourists, creating a scene full of life and energy.

This vibrant transformation stems from Ma'an Village's innovative "whole-village operation" model, which deeply integrates agriculture, culture, and tourism. Leveraging its vast 4,942 acres of bamboo forests, spectacular sea of clouds, and other natural assets, the village has adopted a "government guidance + corporate investment + villager participation" approach.

The village preserves its rustic characteristics while developing local industries. It has renovated the facades of more than 100 farmhouses while retaining traditional elements. The village also launched the county's first low-altitude sightseeing route, offering breathtaking aerial views of the bamboo sea.

The village now boasts 22 distinctive homestays, often fully booked during holidays. Centered around bamboo resources, a local industry has sprouted, featuring "full-bamboo banquets," bamboo liquor, and bamboo weaving crafts. Since operations began in September 2024, the village has received over 250,000 tourist visits and created more than 200 jobs.
