The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently announced the 2025 (fourth batch) list of characteristic clusters for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Smart Home Appliance SME Cluster in Huizhou's Huicheng District was among those selected.
Located in the Huicheng High-Tech Industrial Park, the 81.66-square-kilometer cluster integrates the entire smart home appliance industrial chain—from R&D and design to manufacturing, sales, and testing. Led by major enterprises such as NVC Lighting, CDN Lighting, and Weilin Small Household Appliances, it now includes 72 hardware and software firms, comprising five national-level "Little Giant" enterprises and 53 national high-tech firms.
The cluster's total output value reached 19.65 billion yuan in 2024, an increase of 18.18% year-on-year, reflecting strong industrial growth and innovation momentum.
