Starting from October 18, a fast-track manual channel for Macao residents has been established at the Macao Port Zone of Hengqin Port during peak outbound hours.
The specific operating hours are as follows:
Weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays): 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays: 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Previously, the port authorities of Hengqin and Macao introduced several measures to optimize customs clearance. These include establishing a Macao residents-only lane at the Macao-side self-service channels, opening a fast-track route for Macao residents during crowd control periods, and setting up special channels for Macao residents, frequent travelers, and those in need of assistance at the Hengqin-side security checkpoint.
The border inspection departments of both sides will continue to monitor passenger flow and open additional channels when necessary. Relevant authorities are actively advancing the construction of more manual inspection counters and joint inspection self-service channels in the departure hall.
