Recently, at the 2025 Huizhou Huiyang Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Investment Promotion Conference, Huiyang District Science and Technology Innovation Investment Management Co., Ltd. signed contracts with industry leaders such as UBTECH, Noematrix, coScene, and Astribot to create a training ground for embodied intelligence.
The project aims to address the issue of "lacking high-quality datasets" that hinders the rapid development of the embodied intelligence industry. Based on the needs of real scenarios, it promotes the collection, clarity, annotation, and model training of real machine data from robots.
It is planned to be put into use before December 31 this year. After completion, it is expected to produce 5 million high-quality datasets annually, which will strongly support industry innovation and technological iteration.
"By building such a training ground, we can effectively utilize the existing industrial foundation in Huiyang District. By integrating robot bodies, professional human resources, and data processing pipelines, the system can produce high-quality datasets, empowering the development of robots in practical application scenarios such as industry," said Yang Zhexuan, co-founder of coScene. He was very optimistic about the project.
