Gaozhou leather gloves, Xinyi bamboo weaving, and Dianbai small home appliances—the three major specialty industries—achieved intended deals totaling over US$30 million.

During the fair, Maoming hosted three targeted trade and investment promotion events for its key export industries—Dianbai small home appliances, Xinyi bamboo weaving, and tilapia. The events connected with over 200 overseas buyers and generated more than US$15 million in on-site tentative deals.

Tilapia is Maoming's leading export, accounting for half of Guangdong's and a quarter of China's total tilapia exports. In the first three quarters of this year, the city exported 1.53 billion yuan worth of tilapia, up 3.1% year-on-year, representing over 40% of Maoming's total exports.

Alongside tilapia, agarwood products also attracted strong interest from overseas buyers. The booth of Maoming Yufeng Agarwood Creative Industry Co., Ltd. saw a steady flow of visitors. A Saudi Arabian buyer remarked, "Agarwood is very popular in my country—this is an excellent product." In April, Yufeng Agarwood completed its first export shipment through Maoming Customs, entering Middle Eastern markets.
