GDToday Foshan Channel launches, expanding Guangdong's international communication network

On March 28, the GDToday Foshan Channel's launching ceremony was held in Foshan. As an international communication platform co-developed by Foshan and Nanfang Media Group, this channel will be a vital gateway for the world to discover Foshan, sharing the stories of Guangdong and Foshan with international audiences.

As a city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), Foshan is rapidly transforming traditional industries, expanding emerging sectors, and strategically developing future industries. By integrating established strengths with new growth drivers, the city is shaping a "10+N" industrial cluster with an output exceeding one trillion yuan, paving the way for a modern and competitive industrial system.

With the launch of the GDToday Foshan Channel as a new starting point, Nanfang Media Group will invest more resources to help Foshan establish itself as a globally recognized cultural and tourism brand. This initiative will enhance Foshan's global presence, bringing its city brand, leading industries, and signature products to international markets.

Nanfang Media Group has long maintained deep and extensive cooperation across Guangdong. As an international media organization of Nanfang Media Group, GDToday has served as the main platform for Guangdong's external communication and the primary window for the rest of the world to understand Guangdong. As of now, GDToday has set up city channels in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shantou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Maoming, Qingyuan, and Yunfu—covering nearly half of Guangdong—continuously expanding its international communication network.

Additionally, GDToday is further expanding into counties and districts. For instance, GDToday Lingnan Cantonese Culture International Communication Hub has been established in Foshan's Chancheng District, GDToday Xiqiao Mountain Cultural International Communication Hub in Nanhai District, and GDToday Cantonese Cuisine Cultural International Communication Hub in Shunde District.
