Yangjiang flavors shine in Guangzhou with 200 local specialties

On November 4, a special promotion event showcasing products from western Guangdong's Yangjiang kicked off in Guangzhou, bringing more than 200 local specialties to consumers across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

The two-day event gathered 20 quality enterprises from Yangjiang, featuring deep-sea golden pomfret, dried four-finger threadfin, the intangible cultural heritage Yangjiang fermented black beans, Yangchun Villous Amomum Fruit, and Yangdong Millettia speciosa. Agarwood incense, handmade kites, and creative cultural items also drew visitors' attention.

Beyond product displays, the event also offered cooking demonstrations, product introductions, and authenticity checks, giving consumers a deeper look into Yangjiang's craftsmanship and culinary heritage.

The event marked a significant step in linking Yangjiang's local industries with the GBA market. By aligning local production with the growing demand in cities, Yangjiang is expanding sales channels for its agricultural specialties, bringing high-quality products from the countryside to urban tables.
