The seven-day 2024 Yuexiu Temple Fair concluded on March 1. This year's Yuexiu Temple Fair rolled out more than 150 activities, attracting over 4.3 million visitors, with a total turnover of over 385 million RMB.

At the closing show, outstanding contestants from the martial arts (Kung Fu) competition and the Guangfu talent show, two events of the Fair, took the stage. This year, over 600 athletes from more than 40 teams across Guangdong participated in the martial arts competition, showcasing various Kung Fu styles including Changquan (Long Fist), Nanquan (Southern Fist), Taijiquan (tai chi), and other major styles.

During the 2024 Yuexiu Temple Fair, a dazzling array of events unfolded, such as musical performances, acrobatic displays, street dance flash mobs, folk culture parades, and traditional temple fair activities.

Additionally, the Fair's gourmet area featured more than 20 food brands and over 100 varieties of cuisine, as well as more than 30 intangible cultural heritage booths, captivating numerous residents.
The number of visitors reached 480,000 on the opening day, marking a 63% increase compared to the same period last year, according to He Yuanfei, Deputy Director of Yuexiu District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau.
Moreover, there has been a surge in the attendance of young people at this year's Yuexiu Temple Fair, with the age group between 20 and 39 constituting nearly 60% of the entire fair's attendees.
