Recently, State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) Guangdong's "Longgong", a pioneering wind–fishery integration platform, has been installed in the Shenquan Sea Area of Jieyang City, marking the city's first offshore pilot project.
Part of the 502 MW SPIC Jieyang Shenquan II wind farm, the 3,822-ton structure offers 70,000 cubic meters of aquaculture space and integrates smart systems for centralized farming control, feeding, monitoring, and bio-recognition. The project was built and installed locally, which reduces costs, boosts the industry, and sets a model for future projects. Next, SPIC Guangdong will begin fish stocking and trials, driving ocean-based productivity and helping to achieve the vision of "New Maritime Guangdong".
