Guangdong's divers Chen Yiwen, Lin Shan won a gold medal in the Women's Synchronized 3-meter Springboard in China's 15th National Games in Guangzhou on November 7.
Since the first dive, Chen and Lin secured their leading position with 51 points, and they won the championship after a 5-round competition with 333.12 points, leading 14.22 points to Shaanxi, the 2nd place of the event.
"So far, Guangdong's diving team has achieved a good result. I really appreciate the effort of our support team; without their efforts, we cannot get this remarkable achievement," Chen told reporters.
Before the game, Chen said she likes tasting various dishes with meat; however, she indicated at the press conference that she has to control her weight for the signal event.
"I want to show my training result in the diving hall," Chen added.
