On October 1, the 2025 Foshan Coffee Culture Week · Shunde Urban Early Autumn Lifestyle Season opened beneath the archway of Shunfeng Mountain Park in Shunde, Foshan, filling the air with the aroma of coffee.
A large number of coffee shop owners are drawn to the event.
On the same day, 300 participants—including coffee shop owners, latte art champions, and intangible cultural heritage inheritors—set a Guinness World Record™ for "Most People Brewing Coffee Simultaneously" by forming a formation that spelled "Shunde."
Foshan's Shunde sets the Guinness World Record for largest simultaneous coffee brewing.
Shunde, China's largest coffee machine hub, produces 50% of the world's coffee machines, with local brands like Bestart, Gemilai, and Petrus exporting to over 30 countries and regions.
During this year's Coffee Culture Week, Shunde's coffee machine manufacturers showcased "Shunde Intelligent Manufacturing · Coffee Equipment Brands," offering immersive displays of the entire production process—from grinding and extraction to brewing—allowing visitors to experience the appeal of "Products Made in Shunde."
Beyond its industrial strength, Daliang Subdistrict boasts a thriving coffee scene, with 2.56 coffee shops per 10,000 residents—comparable to China's first-tier cities.

This Coffee Culture Week goes beyond an industrial showcase, offering a public exploration of the "coffee+" lifestyle. The on-site market featured over 140 brands, blending coffee with culture, music, motorcycles, and intangible heritage to create a trendy space serving "coffee by day, drinks by night."
By day, visitors browsed cultural products and enjoyed music amid the aroma of coffee; by night, lights, drinks, and a lively atmosphere kept the energy going for all kinds of visitors.
To engage more visitors, Daliang launched a "Coffee Map" connecting over 20 boutique shops offering special deals—9.9-yuan refreshing coffee and 19.9-yuan creative drinks—allowing residents to tour the city, taste specialty brews, and enjoy a relaxing "micro-vacation."
