South international communication base included in Chancheng's government work report for two consecutive years

As an important cradle of Lingnan culture, Foshan has seen increasingly frequent exchanges and cooperation between China and other countries.

On March 26, at the Seventh Session of the Seventh People's Congress of Chancheng District, Foshan City, South was once again mentioned in the district's government work report. Having been included in 2025, this marks the second consecutive year the base has been featured in the report—making it the first international communication base established by South and a district government in Guangdong Province to achieve such recognition.

Foshan is one of the birthplaces of Lingnan culture. Since the establishment of the South Chancheng channel, the traditional cultural treasures of Chancheng—including parade floats, lion dances, dragon boats, Cantonese opera, and ceramic art—have been showcased to the world through a series of international content produced.

Going forward, the base will continue to tell the stories of Chancheng to the world and engage in in-depth cultural exchanges with the global community.
