With their distinctive design and enhanced functions that go beyond basic cleaning to include health-monitoring capabilities, the products reflect the growing innovation within Chaozhou's smart sanitary ware industry.
In recent years, Chaozhou's smart sanitary ware sector has evolved from simple assembly to independent R&D. Many companies now operate smart workshops with automated systems for testing, molding, and glazing. Fully automated ceramic tunnel kilns enable large-scale, high-quality production. As investment in automation increases, local firms have developed new manufacturing processes and secured patents, while increasing the share of core components made in-house.
As one of China's leading production bases for smart sanitary ware, Chaozhou continues to strengthen its industrial ecosystem. The city has introduced a product traceability platform to enhance quality transparency, adopted rigorous industry standards, and promoted product certification. Through closer supply-chain coordination, Chaozhou is boosting technological innovation and supporting local brands in expanding globally.
Earlier this year, a delegation of electronic component manufacturers from Shenzhen visited local producers to explore supply-chain cooperation. The exchange marked deeper collaboration between the two manufacturing hubs and added new momentum to Chaozhou's ongoing industrial upgrading.
