As the world's largest comprehensive event in the service trade sector, CIFTIS provides an essential platform for exhibitions, international forums, and business matching for trade in services.

This year's CIFTIS, which runs through September 14, emphasizes technology enablement and smart applications more than ever before, with scientific and technological innovation deeply embedded throughout the exhibition—a theme strongly reflected in Guangzhou's offerings.

Also highlighted by Guangzhou's presence were major service export platforms from the city, including the Tianhe Central Business District National Digital Service Export Base and the Panyu District National Cultural Export Base.

From cutting-edge products to robust trade platforms, Guangzhou's participation at CIFTIS illustrates the city's strategic effort to build core competitiveness through differentiated advantages, forming a diversified and resilient structure for global market expansion.

According to recent data, Guangzhou's total service trade import and export volume surpassed $75 billion in 2024, growing 26.5% year-on-year and ranking fourth among all Chinese cities. The sector continued its strong performance with double-digit growth in the first half of 2025.
