At 7 p.m. on October 1, the 2025 Hengqin-Macao Family Feast kicked off at Hengqin Rowing Park, located in the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. The event runs from October 1 to 3, drawing thousands of visitors on its opening day.
At the venue, interactive check-in spots, such as a phone booth that recorded voices, and an interactive wall featuring graffiti attracted long queues. Participants left behind precious memories of the regions, carrying their best wishes for the Hengqin and Macao community.
This year's event introduced more interactive elements, from large inflatable art installations to "Fun 15th National Games" themed activities, giving attendees the chance to win commemorative gifts marking the fourth anniversary of the cooperation zone.
By 8 p.m., more than 700 drones took to the sky, transforming it into a giant canvas with dazzling formations, including traditional Mid-Autumn patterns and mascots of the 15th National Games.
