The Nansha Futures Industrial Park is set to open on September 30 on Guangzhou's Hengli Island tip. It is poised to become China's first full-element futures financial industry park, blending strategic significance with innovative design.
Located at the confluence of sea, exhibition, and hospitality hubs, the park offers a 270-degree panoramic sea view and is situated near the Nansha International Convention Center, Lingnan Oriental Hotel, and the permanent site of the Dawan District Science Forum across the river.
Spanning approximately 47,000 square meters with a total floor area of 150,000 square meters, the park features eight buildings, including three high-rise office towers, four low-density headquarters villas, and a communication center, highlighted by a standout "golden bowl" architectural design.
As a key pillar of Nansha's five-port linkage strategy, which integrates sea, air, digital, financial, and talent ports, the park anchors the financial hub's role in regional coordination and open reforms.
Notably, Building 2 is designated for the Guangzhou futures exchange's technology subsidiary, scheduled for occupancy by September 2025, while Building 8 is entirely earmarked for E Fund's wealth management subsidiary.
The project, 99 percent complete, incorporates sustainable innovations such as a "photovoltaic crown + photovoltaic canopy" system, making Building 2 one of China's first zero-carbon buildings in line with dual-carbon goals.
Beyond financial aggregation, the park fosters a "finance + exhibition + business" ecosystem with 4,600 square meters of retail space, a smart canteen, floral cafes, convenience stores, and integrated public transport with green landscaping.
Designed under the concept of "financial indices rising steadily," the park merges modern architectural aesthetics with financial dynamics through sleek block divisions, vertical lines, premium materials, and intelligent lighting, creating an immersive, forward-looking space that embodies both stability and growth in the futures market.
