Speaker of Nauru's Parliament visits GAC AION in Guangzhou to explore green mobility innovation

Following his visit in Beijing, Marcus Stephen, Speaker of the Parliament of Nauru, and his delegation traveled to Guangzhou on December 4th, where they toured GAC AION, a leading Chinese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer.

This visit underscores the decision made by Nauru in January to resume diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China.

At GAC AION, the delegation was introduced to the company's state-of-the-art production facilities and cutting-edge technologies, including advancements in battery systems, and sustainable vehicle manufacturing. GAC Aion, a subsidiary of Guangzhou Automobile Group (GAC), has emerged as a pioneer in China's green mobility drive, contributing to the country's carbon neutrality goals.
