The inaugural 2025 Huicheng District "Sports Lottery Cup" Adult Badminton Open was recently held at the Huizhou Convention and Exhibition Center, drawing 270 players from Huizhou and over ten nearby cities.
The tournament featured men's and women's singles, doubles, and mixed doubles in two age categories: 18–45 and 46–60.
With a strong grassroots foundation, badminton enjoys growing popularity in Huicheng District, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province. Most participants are young and middle-aged adults, and the sport is becoming increasingly well-organized and skill-driven. It not only promotes fitness and stress relief but also provides a vibrant platform for community interaction.
