A China-Cambodia youth dialogue focusing on green development was successfully held in Shantou from November 19 to 23, as part of the Global South Young Leaders Initiative.

The forum, themed "Pooling Youth Strength for a Green Future," brought together over 40 youth representatives from both countries. During the event, participants shared practical experiences in offshore wind power, water pollution treatment, green industries, and sustainable agriculture. Experts from both countries introduced policies and measures for a green transition.

The Cambodian delegation also visited the Shantou Comprehensive Bonded Zone and the Chenghai District's toy industrial cluster, gaining firsthand experience of Shantou's economic development. Cultural visits to historical sites and exchanges with local university students were also arranged.

The event enhanced mutual understanding between the youth of the two countries and laid a foundation for future cooperation in green development and other fields.
