The fourth edition of Hengqin Nature Week will open at the beginning of spring. As one of this year's highlights, a themed touring exhibition on mangrove conservation was officially launched on March 2 at the Citizen Service Center of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. From March to December, the exhibition will tour multiple venues across Hengqin and Macao.

The exhibition features five sections, guiding visitors through a comprehensive understanding of mangroves, from their definition and botanical characteristics to the ecological value of mangrove ecosystems, associated flora and fauna, and conservation efforts in Hengqin and across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
From March to December, the exhibition will tour venues including the Hengqin National Wetland Park (Erjing Bay), the Citizen Service Center, and local schools. It will also travel to Macao, where it will be hosted at the Macao Science Center.

Dozens of related activities will roll out starting this month. This year's Nature Week continues the "10,000 Trees Project," aiming to plant 10,000 saplings through voluntary tree planting by 2026. More than 40 volunteer tree-planting events will be organized.

Registration for the Mangrove Conservation Themed Speech Contest remains open until March 6, welcoming students in Grades 4 to 6 from Hengqin and Macao. Finalists selected through preliminary review will compete in the grand final on March 21 in Hengqin.

March also marks Guangdong's annual Bird-Loving Week. In conjunction with the campaign, this year's Hengqin Nature Week will host a Youth Bird-watching Invitational on March 22.
