Around 130 global entrepreneurs and former European political figures participated in a series of events in Nanshan district, Shenzhen, as a warm-up to the 2026 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting.
The program, co-hosted by the Nanshan District Enterprise Development Service Center and the Go Global service platform, offered guests immersive experiences by air, sea, and land to showcase the area's business environment and innovation strengths, rather than traditional investment roadshows.

Participants enjoyed a 15-minute low-altitude flight over key landmarks in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, gaining an aerial view of technology parks, skyscrapers, and mangrove wetlands. Organizers said the tour highlighted Nanshan's integrated approach to urban development and industry.

A sea tour aboard a cruise ship took guests past Shekou Port and the Qianhai free trade zone, combining scenic views with discussions on industrial innovation and cross-border cooperation.

The visit concluded with a large-scale drone show above Talent Park, underlining Nanshan's focus on technology and creativity.

Officials said the event aimed to connect global businesses with local industries and attract international investment.
