Guangzhou Nansha International Pet Community to open by year-end

Guangzhou Nansha International Pet Community, a one-stop comprehensive pet platform covering an area of about 10,000 square meters, will be established in Nansha Chuangxiang Bay by the end of this year. It aims to provide high-end animal diagnosis and treatment, pet grooming, health retail, clinical research, and government public services.

The Pet Community will feature seven functional areas: an animal diagnosis and treatment center, a beauty salon area, a retail experience area, an immersive cat café area, a high-end pet boarding area, a scientific research and office area, and a leisure interaction area, creating a harmonious community where people, animals, and the environment coexist.

Furthermore, the community will introduce diverse business models, including pet grooming, cat cafés, pet-friendly bars, pet experiences, and drug feed exhibitions and marketing, providing a platform for the development of the entire Nansha pet economy industry chain.

The animal diagnosis and treatment center will span approximately 800 square meters and will be integrated with the joint research laboratory of City University of Hong Kong, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Nansha District, setting a benchmark for animal diagnosis and treatment institutions in Hong Kong and beyond.

The leisure interaction area will utilize a water-friendly platform to incorporate urban pet elements, connecting the existing star music bar and outdoor leisure features of Chuangxiang Bay. It will include pet-friendly restaurants, shopping areas, and parks, equipped with pet tracks and swimming pools specifically designed for cats and small dogs. The beauty salon area will offer creative grooming, specialized spa treatments, dental care, and fur care services.
