Huizhou welcomes over 55 million visitors in 2025

As China's cultural and tourism sector enters a new phase of high-quality development, Huizhou—aligned with the broader development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area—is accelerating efforts to build a new hub for integrated culture and tourism, shaping a comprehensive tourism landscape that connects mountains and seas.

In 2025, the city welcomed 55.775 million visitors and generated 55.61 billion yuan in tourism revenue, representing increases of 9.5 percent and 12.5 percent year on year, demonstrating strong growth momentum.

During this year's Spring Festival, Huizhou will roll out more than 300 cultural, tourism, and sports activities, distribute five million yuan in consumption vouchers, and enhance service support, warmly inviting visitors nationwide to enjoy a festive, peaceful, and distinctly Lingnan Spring Festival experience.
