The 2026 Macao-Hengqin Art Fair will take place from April 9 to 12 at the Hengqin Culture and Arts Centre, with organizers offering free booths to participating creators.
This year's edition continues the theme of integrating art into everyday life and is open to cultural and creative vendors from Guangdong, Macao, Southeast Asia, and Portuguese-speaking countries.
Organizers state that all 150 creative stalls will be offered free of charge, lowering barriers for both established brands and emerging teams.
The program has been expanded to include three themed exhibition spaces, 30 food stalls, eight hands-on craft workshops, and four consecutive nights of live music, alongside an interactive games area. Exhibitors will be selected across seven categories, ranging from traditional crafts to designer toys.
Applications remain open until March 20. Interested vendors can apply through the "横琴民生" official WeChat account.
The event is jointly hosted by the Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and the Cultural Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government. Now in its fifth year, the fair has attracted over 120,000 visitors since its launch and has become a regular platform for cultural exchange between Macao and Hengqin.
