On the evening of September 17, "The Order from Jiangmen (侨乡密令)", Guangdong's first museum real-life escape room game, underwent beta testing at the Jiangmen Wuyi Overseas Chinese Museum (侨博馆).
Players search for clues in the exhibition hall.
This escape room game was co-designed by Jiangmen Museum (江门市博物馆) and Zhihu Theatre (纸虎剧场), transforming the exhibition hall into a game setting and incorporating real events from the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
During the game, players form a "special operations team" and decode messages based on the orders of the "Chief of Intelligence."
Players interact with NPCs during the game.
The museum's thematic exhibition creates an immersive experience, allowing players to feel the weight and grandeur of history while embarking on their adventure.
Not only did this game attract many young players to participate in the testing phase, but it also received widespread acclaim from them.
After finishing the game, players learn about the history of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression
Zhang Yizhi, the Deputy Director of Jiangmen Museum, stated that the escape room game will be further optimized based on testing feedback and is expected to officially open to the public for free during the National Day holiday.
