The 2026 Maoming Marathon officially opened its registration on December 5. The event is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at the China First Beach scenic area.
According to the organizers, the 2026 Maoming Marathon will feature both the full marathon and the half marathon, with a total of 10,000 participants.
Registration for the event will remain open until 6:00 p.m. on December 20, 2025. A lottery system will be used to determine eligibility. Participants can submit their applications via the official WeChat account (茂名马拉松). Regarding registration fees, individual participants will be charged 188 yuan for the full marathon and 166 yuan for the half marathon. Group registrations come with tiered discounts, which are a highlight of the sign-ups: teams with 30 to 59 members can enjoy a 10% discount, while teams with 60 or more members can receive a 20% discount.
