According to customs statistics, in the first five months of 2025, Huizhou's import and export volume reached 162.05 billion yuan, representing a 5.3% year-over-year increase. Exports totaled 89.46 billion yuan, also a 5.3% increase, while imports reached 72.59 billion yuan, marking a 5.2% increase.

In the first five months of this year, Huizhou's general trade volume rose by 27% to 80.56 billion yuan, accounting for 49.7% of the city's total import and export value. Meanwhile, the processing trade volume was 51.34 billion yuan, down 1%, and the bonded logistics import and export volume was 29.84 billion yuan, down 22.2%.
During this period, among the actual foreign trade business entities in Huizhou, the import and export volume of foreign-invested enterprises was 81.52 billion yuan, up 8.2%, accounting for 50.3% of the city's total import and export value. Private enterprises, primarily "small, medium, and micro-sized," had an import and export volume of 76.86 billion yuan, up 12.9%, accounting for 47.4%.
In terms of trading partners, Taiwan Province of China, ASEAN countries, the European Union, South Korea, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region were Huizhou's top five.
Regarding products, Huizhou's export of electromechanical products reached 70.53 billion yuan, a 7.8% increase, accounting for 78.8% of the city's total export value. The import of such products was 54.46 billion yuan, up 6.1%, accounting for 75%.
