"Guangzhou Night" fashion show marks 10-day countdown to 15th National Games

The "Guangzhou Night" 2025 Biemlofen Fashion Show lit up Haixin Bridge on the evening of October 29, marking the 10-day countdown to China's 15th National Games.

The 198-meter bridge became a grand runway of fashion, technology and culture, showcasing Guangzhou's creativity and vitality. At the same time, Canton Tower presented a 90-second light show featuring the Games' symbolic colors—red for Guangzhou's kapok blossom, purple for Hong Kong's bauhinia, and green for Macao's lotus, the representative flowers of the three cities—symbolizing unity across Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao.

To welcome the National Games, all 30 competition venues in Guangzhou have been upgraded through "micro-renovations," with 17 nearby areas revitalized. The city is turning event preparations into lasting urban renewal, showcasing to the world a confident, open and fashionable Guangzhou.

The show, themed "Weaving Dreams," featured Cantonese opera, Yingge dance and fashion performances, tracing Guangzhou's evolution from the Maritime Silk Road to a modern hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Architect He Jingtang, golfer Feng Shanshan, and model Hu Bing joined the runway, along with folk artists and community representatives. Additionally, AI-assisted design and smart lighting highlighted Guangzhou's integration of technology and fashion.
