On January 9, the Global Launch of the Nankunshan-Luofushan Rim Pioneer Zone (Huizhou) Architectural Art Project was held at Nankun Mountain, Longmen County, Huizhou City.
The Global Launch invited eight leading figures from the domestic academic community, including Chinese Academy of Engineering members He Jingtang and Meng Jianmin, along with seven international top masters such as Alvaro Siza, Rem Koolhaas, and Jean Nouvel, to form the International Academic Advisory Board for the Nankunshan-Luofushan Rim Pioneer Zone (Huizhou) Architectural Art Project. They will recruit over a hundred industry leaders to form the Top 100 Talent Pool, collectively outlining the grand blueprint and beautiful vision for the construction of the art-driven leading area.
Huizhou aims to create a "paradise" for global designers, architects and craftsmen by launching the Architectural Art Project. Through the power of architecture and art, it seeks to form an aesthetic synergy in the region and strive to build the leading area into a world-class cultural and tourism landmark.
At present, Boluo and Longmen Counties have carefully sorted out more than 100 types of construction project design needs involving village planning, architectural landscape, natural scenery, etc. The first phase of the project will carry out the design and construction of the "four villages", "one factory", and "one line". A total of 18 projects can be renovated as a whole village for artists to display their talents.
The Architectural Art Project is dedicated to creating a platform for the exchange of creative ideas, recruiting top designers and teams from around the world to lead specific projects in the pilot area, aiming to create a series of high-quality aesthetic demonstration sites, collectively envisioning a more imaginative and innovative future landscape for Chinese urban and rural areas. Moving forward, it will continue to recruit industry experts and scholars to join the International Academic Advisory Board and the Top 100 Talent Pool.
