This April, five siblings from the Xiao family, hailing from Nanwen Village in Dachong Town, Zhongshan, reunited in their hometown for the first time in over 70 years.
Now in their 70s and 80s, with the eldest being 88, they reside in five different countries. Upon returning to their hometown, they reconnected with relatives, revisited the ancestral hall and the old school, and relived the childhood memories in the village.
On April 5, the Qingming Festival, China's traditional tomb - sweeping day, they paid their respects to their late relatives together. Despite being separated by more than seven decades and an ocean, the family bond remains as strong as ever.
