According to Yunfu Customs, the import and export value of Yunfu with the League of Arab States (LAS) countries totaled 210 million yuan in the first quarter of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 64.4%, with exports amounting to 190 million yuan. The city has demonstrated strong momentum in foreign trade growth.

Customs data indicates that Yunfu has experienced significant growth in both exports and imports with LAS countries. Specifically, its export volume increased by 59.3% year-on-year, with major exports including aluminum materials, clothing, and mechanical and electrical products. Meanwhile, its import volume grew by 189% year-on-year, with primary imported goods consisting of stone products and plastics. This two-way growth trend reflects the optimized trade structure and enhanced complementarity between Yunfu, China, and LAS countries.

Behind this rapid growth are the dual driving forces of policy support from local government departments and market development efforts by enterprises. For example, Luoding Customs has implemented measures such as simplifying customs clearance procedures, offering policy consultations, and optimizing enterprise services to assist businesses in exploring the LAS market.
