"Let's explore Southeast Asia." In recent years, more and more entrepreneurs in Huizhou have mentioned this phrase when discussing development plans.

In April this year, the Huizhou-Haiphong shipping route was launched, marking the first direct sea route between Huizhou and Vietnam. Du Xiaojun, Senior Business Manager at Huizhou International Container Terminal Co., Ltd., explained that the primary driver behind the new route is the rapid growth in foreign trade between Huizhou and ASEAN countries, particularly Vietnam, where the booming manufacturing sector strongly complements Huizhou's industries.
After the route's opening, some shipments to Vietnam came from Ledman Optoelectronic Co., Ltd., a high-tech enterprise specializing in LED ultra-high-definition displays and LED lighting, which operates a production base in Huizhou. In 2024, the company's overseas revenue reached 974 million yuan, a 22.1% year-on-year increase, making it a major contributor to its growth. The company revealed that revenue growth in several regions, including Southeast Asia, exceeded expectations.

'Indeed, some of our products are shipped to Vietnam. In fact, we established our own factory there years ago to further expand our market presence and address challenges," an official of Ledman Optoelectronic Co., Ltd. said.
In March this year, the production bases of both Guangdong Champion Asia Electronics Co., Ltd. and Victory Giant Technology (Huizhou) Co., Ltd. in Vietnam were established. In February, the overseas factory of EVE Energy Co., Ltd. in Malaysia commenced operations. Additionally, TCL invested in a new TV manufacturing base in Vietnam in 2019 and has since established production facilities in countries like Vietnam and Indonesia.
