Global gathering of 20,000 artworks at Guangzhou International Art Fair

On December 13th, the 29th Guangzhou International Art Fair opened its doors at the Nanfeng International Convention and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou, attracting thousands of visitors.

The Guangzhou International Art Fair has attracted artists and art institutions from many countries and regions, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, and the Republic of the Congo. With an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, the fair boasts the participation of 1,000 art institutions and artists, showcasing approximately 20,000 original artworks. These pieces cover various artistic forms, including traditional painting, sculpture, modern installation, video, and digital art.

Institutions such as the Guangzhou Academy of Painting, Guangzhou Sculpture Institute, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, and the Dehua Ceramic Art Academy in Fujian Province have also brought their unique artistic styles and academic research achievements to the fair. A special exhibition celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France invites renowned French artist Rémi Aron, the French Fine Arts Association chairman, and prominent Chinese artist A Xi to present a joint exhibition. 

Masterpieces by artistic legends such as Salvador Dalí, Pablo Picasso, and Marc Chagall are also displayed. Chinese art masters such as Li Tiefu, Wu Dayu, Zhao Wuji, and Wu Guanzhong also surprised visitors with the appearance of their works.
