The three lead actors of Chicago met more than 70 excited fans at Dongguan Yulan Theatre on May 14, building anticipation for the premiere—the musical's first show in Dongguan.
During the meet-and-greet, all three leads expressed their anticipation for the city despite this being their first visit to Dongguan.
Alex Bourne (Billy Flynn) said, "Dongguan's clean, wide streets and skyscrapers amazed me. I'd love to explore its museums for cultural insights."
"The city feels so peaceful—perfect for park walks! I'd also appreciate shopping recommendations," said Sarah Soetaert (Roxie).
Laura Tyrer (Velma) added, "People here are incredibly welcoming and friendly. We've already planned a city tour and want your tips!"
This meet-and-greet not only deepened the three leads' understanding of Dongguan but also strengthened their bond with the audience.
