From beef balls to opera: Foreigners become Shantou's cultural ambassadors

On the evening of March 15, a delegation of envoys of Pacific Island nations and Caribbean countries to China visited the Small Park historical area, Shantou. They admired festive lanterns, watched Yingge dance performances, and enjoyed Teochew Opera at the Old Mother's Palace Theater, experiencing the charm of Teochew traditional culture firsthand. The foreign guests were constantly taking photos, nodding frequently, applauding from time to time, interacting with the young performers, touching the lion dance heads, and admiring the lanterns.
