China's southern economic powerhouse, Guangdong, has vowed to boost bio-pharmaceutical and health industry into a one trillion RMB business by 2027, according to its latest action plan.

On October 9, Guangdong released an action plan for further promoting the high-quality development of the province's biopharmaceutical industry, proposing 38 key tasks and initiatives themed around innovative mechanisms, product upgrading, industry clustering, and business environment creation.

The 2024 Global Cross-border E-commerce Annual Meeting kicks off in Hengqin, Zhuhai, on October 8.

Hengqin will play a notable role at the 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (MIF), which will kick off next Wednesday (October 16) at the Venetian Macao, running for four consecutive days. The exhibition will feature over ten promotional activities focused on Portuguese-speaking countries, along with a dedicated "Portuguese-speaking Countries Market Zone."

On October 9, the "2024 Global Bay Area Chorus Bridge" Youth Choral Education Seminar & Choral Master Workshop was held at Guangdong Experimental High School in Guangzhou. The event gathered music teachers and students from Guangdong Province, along with instructors and students from the Young People's Chorus of New York City (YPC). Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on music teaching and performance skills in order to seek deeper cooperation in music education.
