The second phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair, opened on Thursday in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province, focusing on home living products.
The massive event features three main sections covering household items, gifts and decorations, and building materials and furniture.
Additionally, four new zones have been established to display fashion accessories, bamboo and wooden tableware, bamboo and wooden home products, and integrated housing and garden facilities.

During the exhibition, Chinese companies are demonstrating new competitive advantages through green technology and environmentally friendly materials, positioning green and low-carbon practices as a new hallmark of Chinese foreign trade. In one example, wood-plastic composites made from waste wood and recycled plastic are highlighted, reflecting a growing emphasis on sustainability and innovation in the industry.
