The 2025 Beijing Culture Forum opened on September 23, bringing together more than 800 delegates from over 50 countries and regions to explore how technology is reshaping cultural development.

This year, the two-day event is held under the theme "Inheritance, Innovation, Mutual Learning," with a focus on the integration of culture and technology. Discussions center on issues such as artificial intelligence in cultural production and distribution, new forms of creativity in the information age, digital cultural products, and global cooperation in heritage protection.

Speakers at the opening session addressed topics ranging from artificial intelligence and its implications for cultural creation to the role of exchanges in strengthening international ties. Discussions also touched on the use of digital tools for heritage preservation, the transformation of media in the age of generative AI, and the challenges of cross-cultural cinema.
Beyond the main sessions, the forum featured six parallel forums and more than 20 specialized salons, along with an investors' conference on cultural industries.

According to the organizers, the forum aims to provide practical ideas for cultural development in the digital age while positioning Beijing as a hub for both cultural exchange and technological innovation.
