The "Shengtang No. 1" aquaculture platform, escorted by a patrol vessel for safety, has successfully arrived at the waters of the Nan'ao Leimen I offshore wind farm operated by Datang Shantou New Energy Co., Ltd., marking its official installation in Shantou waters.

The "Shengtang No. 1" platform is the first integrated project combining offshore wind power and marine ranching in eastern Guangdong. Its completion is significant for optimizing wind energy resources, enhancing the comprehensive utilization of marine space, and exploring the industrial model of merging offshore wind power with marine ranching.
Featuring a relocatable suction pile foundation, the "Shengtang No. 1" platform consists of three main components: the deck area, the main jacket structure, and the suction buckets. The deck area is equipped with desalination facilities, power systems, and aquaculture equipment, enabling seawater desalination, fish farming, harvesting, power supply, monitoring, and vessel berthing and transfer. With an aquaculture volume of 12,000 cubic meters, the platform is expected to produce an annual output of 180 tons of premium marine fish, delivering significant economic benefits.

Additionally, the project includes smart fishery applications, featuring advanced equipment such as water quality and hydrological monitoring instruments, automatic feeders, and underwater net-cleaning robots. By integrating cutting-edge technologies like big data and artificial intelligence, the project achieves informatization, intelligence, and modernization of deep-sea aquaculture, promoting its transformation and upgrading.
