ZXMOTO, a Chinese motorcycle startup, made history at the Superbike World Championship (WSBK) Portugal round, winning two races on March 28 and 29 with its 820RR-RS. For the first time, a Chinese bike topped a world-class podium, breaking decades-long dominance by European and Japanese brands.
Behind this historic machine lies the strength of Guangdong manufacturing. The bike's exhaust system, helmet, and engine cylinders were all produced in Jiangmen, while the high-performance engine valves were developed by Foshan's Ji Hua Laboratory. This full supply chain, spanning the Pearl River Delta, turns local expertise into world-class performance and showcases Guangdong's key role in powering China's rise on the global motorcycle stage.
