In late autumn, pink kapok trees flower across Guangdong, lining streets and adding splashes of color to the urban landscape. Their blossoms stand out against the sky, while fallen petals gather beneath the trees.

Bougainvillea brightens the streets

At Chencun Flower World in Shunde, Foshan, bougainvillea is in full bloom. Red, pink, orange and white flowers cluster along the branches in the autumn sunshine.

A sea of golden flowers

At Moshanghua Park in Shenzhen, golden flowers open in the autumn sunshine. Their slender stems sway in the breeze, forming a bright stretch of yellow.

A field of pale purple

Wenhua Park in Foshan has its own autumn colors, with pale purple flowers spreading across the grounds. In the soft sunlight, the blooms form a wash of color against the surrounding greenery.
