Zhanjiang's fields turn golden as autumn arrives. Heavy ears of rice sway in the breeze, while vast rice paddies, winding rivers and scattered villages form a picturesque harvest landscape.

In the Dongxiyang rice-growing area of Leizhou, golden paddies stretch as far as the eye can see. Harvesters move steadily through the fields, gathering ripe rice as farmers work to bring in the crop.
