China-Central Asia center shares solutions to combat desertification

Established in Yinchuan in July 2025, the China-Central Asia Cooperation Center for Desertification Prevention and Control provides a platform for China and the five Central Asian countries to work together on combating desertification. From sand control and saline soil improvement to ecological monitoring and desert plant cultivation, the center shares practical technologies and explores new approaches to restoring fragile ecosystems.
