Come late July, Zhanjiang's Qiantang Lotus Base enters its peak flowering season. Spanning 13,000 mu (about 867 hectares), its lotus ponds form the largest contiguous lotus landscape across Guangdong. Visitors can stroll scenic boardwalks and viewing platforms, sample fresh lotus root delicacies, and enjoy the charm of this lotus hometown.
